With facilities across North America and Europe, Massachusetts-based Unified2 is an innovative leader in the protective packaging industry. They engineer and manufacture a wide range of custom packaging solutions for industrial, commercial, life sciences, and advanced technology sectors. Unified2 is a partnership between the original Atlas Box and Crating Company and The Kraft Group of Foxborough.
Two New Buildings Spanning 1 Million Sq. Ft.
To accommodate their growth, Unified2 has engaged RP Masiello for decades. This new project, representing the sixth and seventh buildings, entails more than 1 million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.
With 40-foot ceilings to accommodate high-rack storage, and 160 loading docks to handle the massive flow of packaging materials Unified2 provides for companies around the world, the new buildings will be steel-frame structures, with insulated metal wall panels and a decorative split-block façade.
The new buildings are located off Unified Parkway, a new road on the company’s 448-acre site off Providence and Boston Roads in Sutton.
Our relationship with Unified2 [formally Atlas Box and Crating] began in 1998 when RP Masiello was selected to build their first facility. Since then, we have worked closely with company leadership to design and build several additions to the original, along with their 418,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters and manufacturing operation.
