Because of RP Masiello’s extensive experience building recycling centers and transfer stations for waste haulers, BFI engaged us to design and build a new facility in Auburn, MA. Branded as a “transcycling” center, the facility has an enclosed a loading and processing area for construction waste and municipal rubbish. It also features a mechanized recycling line for sorting paper, plastics, glass and metals, a railroad transloading platform for hauling waste bulk. The project also included an office wing for BFI’s regional management.

The project was completed on time and on budget. Based on this successful project in Auburn, BFI engaged RP Masiello to renovate and expand its facility in Tyngsboro, MA. To date, RP Masiello has completed 20 major projects for companies in the waste management industry.
