Unified2 has again contracted RP Masiello for their latest expansion project: a 450,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing and industrial warehousing space. This design-build project represents the seventh facility that RP Masiello has constructed for Unified2 since the partnership began in 1998. The new construction will feature comprehensive high-rack storage systems throughout the main production floor, with an additional 12,000 sq. ft. second level for supplementary operations. The facility will also feature multiple loading docks, strategically positioned around the building to accommodate railroad car access, streamlining material handling and distribution operations. The design incorporates load bearing insulated pre-cast concrete materials, providing superior structural integrity and energy efficiency to support Unified2’s heavy infrastructure requirements.
