RP Masiello has helped Judd Wire grow significantly on a constrained site. Engaged for our design/build general contracting services, we have built two major manufacturing additions totaling more than 100,000 sq. ft. to their complex, with extensive industrial-grade power and HVAC systems.

In one particularly novel solution, we saw the opportunity to add a second story within an existing facility (without raising the roof) to create new space for the company’s engineering and operations teams. We built the steel framed second story while the rest of the building remained in use. This necessitated extreme attention to detail and design tolerances. We also built-out a new testing lab, maintenance and facilities departments. To enable growth on the site we demolished obsolete structures to reclaim the land for other uses.

Of special note, our late, great colleague Ramon Hovsepian designed and engineered these projects for Judd. Ramon had a well-earned national reputation as an outstanding architect and structural engineer. It was our honor to work with him for many years, on many client projects.
